The WAP "emulator" that comes with the Nokia Toolkits is not really very good at emulating the real Nokia 7110 phone. Instead you should use something called the Nokia SDK 2. The most recent version is v.2.18. The SDK contains a very good 7110 emulator and many other useful tools, and is a must when developing real applications.
